USES MADE OF THE INFORMATION

We use the information we hold about you:

  • To operate and administer the service, including maintaining your user account and informing you of relevant changes to it

  • To generate general statistics about how the service is used, such as peak usage times and general demographics.

We will stop contacting you on behalf of our advertisers if you ask us to, but if you do you will not be able to use the service as a result. We will also automatically stop contacting you in this way 12 months after your last sign-in to our service.

SHARING OF YOUR INFORMATION

The owner or operator of the venue where the WiFi service is located may also use your information through our portal in the ways described above, for the purposes of contacting you about their own offers, products or services.  They are the data controller in respect of that use of your data and you should contact them about how they will use it, although we would be happy to pass on to them queries which you send to us.  Our contract with the owner or operator forbids them to provide or sell your information to third parties.

We will share your information with our IT service providers, call centre operators and other sub-contractors, to the extent necessary to enable them to perform the activities that we have subcontracted to them.  We remain the data controller responsible for what they do with your information, and your statutory rights are unaffected.
